Steve & Morgan Heading Across a Snowy Meadow

Buffalo Creek, CO was the site of one of Colorado’s worst wildfires back in 1996. The destruction from the fire is still seen today and virtually no vegetation has come back in the 16 years that have passed since the fire. While it’s sad that the forest has not regrown, it has made way for some of the best mountain biking in the state.

Last week Colorado received its first major snowstorm of the season and nearly 6 inches fell in Boulder. Lucky for us Buffalo Creek received far less and most of the trails were dry.
