So tomorrow I’ll be taking on my first hill climb race (on a road bike) of 2007. This is one of the many prep races I’ll be doing before I master Mt. Washington in New Hampshire in August. This race begins in Boulder and winds up Sunshine Canyon and concludes at the city limits of Gold Hill. I don’t really know if you could call it a city limit, but it’s the highest point in the town of Gold Hill. Anyways, the racing (eh…suffering?) begins at the crack of 8:05AM tomorrow. The race is only 9 miles in length, however it will climb a grueling 3,000 vertical feet. This is still a snoozer compared to Mt. Washington, but it will be hard!
